James Zoller:  

Life Jim Zoller was born in Bradenton, Florida on 11/02/45. He attended primary schools there and graduated from Manatee High School in 1963. He is an Eagle Scout and Past Master Councilor of Demolay. He continued his education at Auburn University where he graduated in 1970 with a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Design. He is a Member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He was Honorably Discharged from the U.S. Army Reserve after attaining the rank of Captain in 1976. Jim Zoller resided for 24 years in Winter Haven, Florida. In May of 1994 he moved to Cashiers, North Carolina to open Zoller Hardware,(Inc.) with his wife, Paula. Mr. Zoller started his retail career in 1970 in Winter Haven, Fl. and was vice-president & manager of a Retail Hardware Store there for 16 years. For two years beginning in 1986, he was merchandising, advertising and marketing director for a Lumber Company in Orlando, FL. The next six years he was a territory manager (sales) for two large hardware wholesale companies with many retail hardware store accounts throughout central Florida. Mr. Zoller was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Winter Haven, FL., is a past President of The Rotary Club of Cashiers Valley, is a Past President and Director of the Cashiers Area Chamber of Commerce, is a Past President and Director of Garden Grove Communities, Inc. in Winter Haven, is a Past Director of the Holly Forest Association, and is a past board member member of the Lake Toxaway United Methodist Church. Mr. Zoller and his wife, Paula, have a son, Jayson, who graduated from Central Florida University and continued on to attain two Master Degrees from Purdue University.
